Welcome
to Our Website
The main objective of Etnolife Association is fostering
tradition, presenting and promoting the way peasants used to live on
small farms and in villages, and preserving material values of the
past for future generations. Above all, the Association deals with
fostering tradition, environmental education and organising summer
camps and events.
One
of our objectives is to establish an ethno-house showing the cluster
of buildings characteristic for Ludas small farms of the past.
Moreover, we would like to promote material and spiritual relics of
folk culture. At our Roka’s farm which is more than a hundred
years old and which is registered at the Institute for the Protection
of Cultural Monuments, we have created a public collection presenting
characteristic objects of peasant life of the past. We find it
extremely important to preserve still existing utensils from
deterioration. The above mentioned authentic
farm of monumental value takes a significant place in the touristic
offer of the region. We are also planning to develop a regional
network for promoting small farms with similar assets and objectives.
